Given how long we’ve been doing what we’ve been doing, one might assume that we’d seen/heard/done it all.

Nope.

Laced Up (the rare sneaker hunting boutique) and Prriya & Chintans (Mumbai-based couture design house) now offer a shoe diamonding service.

Yup. We were speechless, too.

Start at Laced Up and pick a pair, any pair. (Patent is easiest to work with.) Hustle over to P&C, where they’ll photograph your sneaks and superimpose images of white and colored diamonds ranging from itty-bitty sparklers to flashers big enough to do client Big Boi proud.

Gems are cast and affixed with gold and silver thread. They’re ready in six weeks and are insured for up to a year, should any stones come loose.

The same can’t be done for your jaw, though.
