Is That a Strap On?

Carriage Vintage Watchbands

wrap your wrist!

Oh, the allure of the other side of the tracks. The boys. The schemes. The adorable-as-pie accessories that you’d never expect to find at midcentury furniture shops.

Yet when Victory Vintage owner Lee Cuthbert stumbled upon a mint-condition assortment of ’60s Carriage leather watchbands, she decided to give them a go at her store.

Some are stamped with flourishes and patterns. Some are studded the cowboy way. In short, you’ll want to own ’em the minute you wrap a few around your wrist.

Sift through a half dozen neutral shades in styles starting at just three bucks. Wear them as watchbands or — even better — as straight-up bracelets with something contrast-stitched, or generally rough-and-tumble.

You know how you like to get down.
