Bust a Gut

Culinary Comic Will Rece

funny man!

You know you’ve matured when you stop trying to make pals snarf milk at the dinner table. (Now that you’re legal, you spend milk money on Two Buck Chuck.)

This Wednesday night, chef Will Rece (Tavern on the Green, 103 West, Kabobs) is kicking off a new culinary comedy routine with a two-night-only show, Son of a Bisque, at Ansley Park Playhouse.

It’s part stand-up, part cocktail hour, and part tasting (mai tai MoonPies, icebox salmon) for everyone in the audience.

You can bring home the action by booking Rece for a private gig. He’ll whip up a menu (and comedy stylings) just for the occasion. Who knows? He might even bring down the house.

And raise the roof with his veal.

First live performance and tasting, Wednesday, 6 p.m., at Ansley Park Playhouse, 1545 Peachtree Street, Midtown (404-875-1193). For more information and tickets, go to chefwillrece.com. Use ticket code CANDY at checkout. Map It
