What: The beloved Lower Haight cocktail kitchen serves dishes such as cherry bread pudding French toast, duck hash with fried duck egg, and braised sofrito with spicy smashed griddled potatoes.
Why: Undo the previous night’s damage with a Summer’s Kiss (gin, strawberry, tomato water, basil, balsamic) before succumbing to Death in the Afternoon (bubbles and absinthe sorbet).

Bridge Theatre’s 73rd Anniversary
What: The charming old Inner Richmond one-screener celebrates nearly three-quarters of a century with a 30¢ screening of 1939’s Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, released the year the theater opened.
Why: In addition to Jimmy Stewart’s many charms, you’ll see vintage newsreels and a multimedia intermission.
