One word: beignets. Yup, we’re talking warm, airy, and sprinkled with powdered sugar. As if that wasn’t enough reason to visit this charmer of a greasy spoon, there are also your standard breakfast dishes, burgers, and some of the best po’ boys in town.

A group of chefs come together and make and sell lunch out of the garage door in the American Industrial Center. Everything is organic, local, street-food inspired, spontaneous, affordable, handmade from scratch, and delicious. Check out the blog the night before to see the next day’s menu.

Named after the earthquake-inducing green rock beneath its foundation, this place ups the ante in the Dogpatch dining scene with a daily-changing menu that marries local California ingredients with subtle French country flair.

This Dogpatch eatery is seasonally driven and serves thin-crust pizzas, salads, soups, and antipasti platters. All ingredients are sourced directly from small local and organic purveyors. The result is downright delicious.

Why don't you have Rickshaw Bagworks featured in this section? Rickshaw is San Francisco's newest bag company specializing in the design and manufacturing of messenger bags and accessories made for everyday urban travel. Each product is built to order in the company's Dogpatch factory and there's a storefront/showroom that features a growing collection of specialty fabrics and textiles. This company should definitely be on Daily Candy's Dogpatch radar!
