From Russia with Love
Yoana Baraschi

Putting the word “Russian” in front of something (dressing, roulette, literature) generally doesn’t lighten things up.
But not so when it comes to Russian designer Yoana Baraschi. Her line of jackets, tops, skirts, and dresses has the romantic, regal silhouettes you’d associate with an old-world vibe but keeps things light with playful appliques and modern shapes.
A detailed and intricate pattern on a sundress is kept in check by an easy fit. The orange embroidered dress features braided straps, delicate beading, and subtle color. And white brocade softens the black high-collar jacket.
Revolutionary? You might say so.
Though in a decidedly un-Bolshevik way.
